Frank’s Taliesin West
The former winter home of architect, designer, and educator, Frank Lloyd Wright nestled in the desert of Scottsdale, Arizona, which now houses the FLW Foundation and School of Architecture at Taliesin.
The campus is famous for it's rich reds and blues scattered throughout the fabrics and facades inside and out. The newest structures on the property are sprinkled across the desert, built by students as their thesis project to design a shelter they can sleep inside... and where I will narrowly avoid getting bitten by a snake while photographing.
On assignment for Metropolis Magazine.
