A Total Eclipse
On the morning of August 21, 2017, we packed up camp on the manure covered cow pasture, where a farmer in Eastern Oregon had rented modest $100 plots to hundreds of revelers of "The Great American Solar Eclipse".
As I made my way to the top of the hill, gathering with strangers all looking to the sky, I roamed around with my camera. Cheering on with the crowd as the world went dark and for a short two minutes, admiring the beauty in something so rare, and forgetting about nearly everything else.
